Ruth Ogbans currently serves as the OMHC Director. Ruth has worked as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a mobile crisis ACT team treating chronically ill treatment-resistant young adults and adults. She has also worked as a Geropsychiatric Nurse Practitioner treating geriatrics with chronic mental illness, cognitive decline and dementia. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Ruth was a Registered Nurse for about 7 years and practiced in different settings- Nursing homes, ICU, Med-Surge, Surgical Orthopedics and Cosmetic Surgery, and Inpatient psychiatric unit. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Charm City Behavioral Health team.
